Response to COVID-19

(last modified: 2020/06/18)

The Ontario government has announced Stage 2 of the province’s reopening plan, that raises the limit on social gatherings to 10 people and permit all places of worship in Ontario to open with physical distancing in place and attendance limited to no more than 30 per cent of the building capacity. TSCAC is taking a gradual approach of reopening the church for worship and activities in stages. We have been working on the reopening plan to ensure the health and safety of our congregations, staff and the community as our top priority. We will provide more details as the time comes. Until then, the church will remain closed, and all church activities including worships will remain online. Please remember the church in your prayers for God’s protection as we face the challenges in reopening, and for unity and perseverance of us all during these pandemic times.

TSCAC have made the following decisions:

1. Worships

  • We will continue to suspend all on premise Sunday morning services
  • We recommend that you could join our live stream worship:

2. All other meetings at church

  • All other church activities: Adult and Children Sunday School, fellowship programs, cell groups, committee meetings will continued to be held via online platform.
  • Monthly prayer meeting will be virtual as well. You are welcome to join us by sending us a request through email to contact@tscac.org for the Meeting ID. You can also send us some prayer requests to the above email address too; please put down subject: Prayer Requests.

3. Offering

Further recommendations

  1. For those who are ill or have high risk medical conditions, please do not attend any church activities during this time.
  2. Please contact pastors, your fellowship committee or care group leaders, if you need further support.
“For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self discipline.” (2 Tim 1:7)

May God grant you peace and good health.
